Every two years the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian selects 5-7 American who embody the spirit of the country and commission portraits to hang in their hallowed halls. In 2023, Kenturah Davis was selected to create a portrait of renowned Director Ava DuVernay. This film explores Kenturah’s process in creating this work. Along with directing, I also shot this piece.
Cooper Tires was a company all about the Journey. This film explores Cooper’s mission to create great tires to take people where they want to go, surrounded by the people they love. Along with directing, I wrote the script for this film.

This series for United Rentals tells the stories of people who have gone through it and found out that most of the time, they’re where the real value is. This is one of those stories.
Kelloggs made a bold choice in splitting into two companies, and it needed content just as bold to explain the new company to employees and the world. For this hype video, we built a museum set showcasing all the innovation and thinking that goes into Kellanova products and took their employees on a journey through the exhibition.
CAT had a problem: they were seen as a company that makes big awesome machines. But more and more they were actually becoming a tech company on par with Google or Apple. They use AI, machine learning, advanced networking, you name it. This perception problem meant they weren’t attracting the best coders, who often didn’t know they existed. We made this spot challenging those coders to test their mettle against big iron.
